The NHS provides free health care for most people.
It is important to understand that GPs are self-employed and not all of the services we provide are covered by the NHS payments to the practice.
Please expect to pay a fee for non-NHS services. The staff or your GP will inform you of any pre-payable charge before carrying out non-NHS work.
As this is an additional service offered by the surgery, there is no set time limit on private work being actioned. Due to the current NHS workload, all private/administrative requests are taking longer to be actioned. We therefore kindly ask that you submit your request to the surgery with as much advance notice as possible, in order to avoid disappointment.
We also offer private medicals which may be needed by any agency such as your employer or for overseas visa applications.
